Meet Brooke

Hey, I’m Brooke!

I am an artist at heart, who also loves to paint words on paper, like in my first collaborative book for homeschool moms. With a background in Textile Design, I enjoy using that with visuals on my blog by weaving words about the beauty of everyday life into my tapestry of home, family and ministry as a pastor wife. My husband and I have three children, preteen to adult. Having lost a child, and fostered/adopted my younger two, I understand perseverance through life’s challenges. My favorite things in life are simple joys, like sneaking treats to my two mischievous cavapoos!

Do you need encouragement in the midst of the constant pressures of this world? As a southern mama, Brooke uses storytelling to convey the deeper truths found in God’s Word. Concerning the tapestry of her life, she has days where she feels like a thread about to break. Yet, the Lord faithfully makes a way when there is no other way. Brooke writes to encourage anyone who needs help in the day to day on this side of heaven.

As a Hope Writer, Brooke shares some of her labor of love from two decades of homeschooling. She and nine other experienced ladies from the US and Canada help homeschool moms gain insight, encouragement, and practical wisdom so they can educate their children with confidence, purpose, and joy. The book is The Homeschool Journey: Insights, Encouragement, and Lessons from Moms Like You, launching May 19, 2025.
