Forgiveness=To Let Go

True forgiveness cancels the debt.

Thinking that we are owed NOTHING is hard, especially when the wound is deep. If Jesus commands this (which He does), He will grant the ability to release it. Don’t worry if it is a struggle, God will help as the process of letting it go can take time. Trust that the Lord cares and can handle it.

“For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.” Matthew 6:14-15
