The Lord Saves the Crushed in Spirit
The Lord‘s healing is so thorough. It is complete and comprehensive and gets into every nook and cranny of our being. He heals deep emotional pain through His presence. Ultimately, full healing will be completed when we join Him in eternity, but He is always about the business of restoration.
As we walk with Him, we learn that He is continually working for our good and His glory. He invites us to participate with Him in this healing process by taking the time to sit at His feet and allow His words and His presence to soothe.
When working through grief, trauma and wounds, we learn to abide before Jesus. Just abide and let Him do the work inside. It is also wise to seek counsel and follow through on steps given for healing, but true healing always begins with the Lord. He knows each one intimately, much better than we know ourselves.
“The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.”
Psalm 34:18
Thankfully, Christ not only has the power to forgive sin, but He has the power to grant healing from its effects. He may not take away every difficulty as we live in a fallen world, but He will give victory in the moment to see us through one bit at a time until we meet Him face to face.
May the Lord continue to bless and keep the one reading and grant healing and restoration in every pocket of pain in the heart.
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for knowing my pain and recording every tear I have shed. Thank you for your grace and mercy and help in my time of need. Please hear my heart cry and grant healing to my hurt. Please allow me to reflect your love so freely given to me and forgive my sins as I forgive the sins of those who have done me harm. Thank you for your love.
In Jesus’ name. Amen.
